SOFT SAVORY TART FILLED quick and easy recipe for a delicious appetizer

A fantastic idea for an easy appetizer where you can prepare the base in advance and then fill with vegetables, cured meats, and cheeses just before serving the soft savory tart filled at the table!

This delicious soft savory tart has a fluffy base, and we can personalize the filling according to our tastes and what’s in the fridge. It’s a delicious appetizer perfect for a buffet for dinners or quick aperitifs!

For the filling, I chose small mozzarella balls, slices of prosciutto, slices of cherry tomatoes, and arugula, but as always, you can add whatever your family enjoys, like other cured meats, diced omelette, scamorza, grilled vegetables, and much more!

Ingredients for SOFT SAVORY TART

  • 3 Eggs
  • 3.4 fl oz Milk
  • 3.4 fl oz Sunflower oil
  • 6.3 oz Flour
  • 1 packet Instant yeast for savory preparations
  • 2.5 oz Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • as needed Salt and pepper
  • 8.8 oz Cream cheese
  • 2.8 oz Prosciutto
  • 1 bunch Arugula
  • 5.3 oz Small mozzarella balls
  • as needed Cherry tomatoes

Preparation for SOFT SAVORY TART

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk and the oil. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Now add the grated Parmigiano Reggiano, sifted flour with yeast.

    Mix using a whisk to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

  • Grease the soft smart tart pan and pour the mixture into it.

    Place the tray in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes.

  • Once cooked, let the soft savory tart cool and then proceed with the filling.

  • First, spread CREAM CHEESE on the bottom of the soft savory tart, then proceed to fill it to taste with ARUGULA, small mozzarella balls, prosciutto, and tomato slices.

  • We can make the soft tart with the smart mold in advance the day before, store it in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap, and fill it deliciously just before serving it at the table!
