FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE STUFFED CREPE LACE RECIPE FOR APPETIZER
which can be filled with cooked ham and cheese, then rolled up and placed in the oven with béchamel sauce as a main course, or filled with jam for a little sweet treat!
Anyway, I make the crepe batter by melting the butter and then adding it to the rest of the ingredients and blending everything with a mixer to avoid unpleasant lumps.
In the same pan where I melted the butter and after putting the batter into the piping bag, I make swirls that will cook in a flash and that I will turn with the spatula for an even cooking…let’s say!
I continue to make little circles of crepe lace, until the batter is finished.
I start filling by placing a leaf of lettuce which protects from the leakage of sauces or other fluid things and
then I add a little mayonnaise or tartar sauce and a bit of smoked salmon
roll them tightly and stack them up like a little tower of stuffed lace!
Cover with plastic wrap until ready to serve and … ENJOY YOUR MEAL!

P.S. We can make smaller circles as finger food or eat them with a fork and knife at the table!
