The baked pork ribs are succulent, crispy, and…delicious!!
I cooked them in the oven but if you have a place to set up a grill, preferably outdoors, opt for that because the house will retain a bit of meat aroma for a few hours, even if you open windows and balconies!
How to marinate pork ribs? Personally, I made a mix of rosemary, sage, black pepper, a hint of garlic, and a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with which I massaged the ribs, leaving them to rest for a few hours covered with cling film.
You can also add paprika, soy sauce, honey, thyme, and…experiment with curiosity!
How to cook pork ribs? Besides cooking them in the oven, we can grill them or even cook them in a pan!
What to pair with pork ribs, which side dish to pair with this tasty and economical second course of meat?
Oven-baked potatoes are undoubtedly a classic, but it’s also good to serve some parsley potatoes, grilled vegetables, oven-roasted carrots, and even the classic mash!
I served the succulent crispy baked pork ribs with some barbecue sauce!
HOW TO MAKE THE RIBS LIGHTER? Yes, as strange and a bit absurd as it may seem (if I’m cooking pork ribs, I want something a bit indulgent, right?), if we want to make this dish less caloric, we should boil or rather blanch them for a few minutes in boiling water to reduce fat. Then proceed as normally written below…

SUCCULENT CRISPY BAKED PORK RIBS
The cuisine of ASI
- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very economical
- Rest time: 2 Hours
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 4 people
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
- 4.4 lbs pork ribs (even 5.5 lbs)
- to taste sage
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste rosemary
- to taste black peppercorns
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste Maldon salt
Tools
- Baking Tray
Preparation
Chop the aromatic herbs with garlic, crush the black peppercorns, and add some extra virgin olive oil and a few grains of Maldon salt.
With this mix, massage the pork ribs then place everything in a bowl, cover with cling film, and let it rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Remove the marinated ribs from the fridge at least an hour before cooking so the meat can relax…and preheat the oven to 375°F!
Line the baking tray with parchment paper (I almost always use it), place the well-seasoned pork ribs on it, and bake for 30/40 minutes, turning them as needed to ensure even cooking.
Serve the succulent crispy baked pork ribs hot and tasty with the side dishes I suggested above… and a few spoons of red sauce.
Bon Appetit!
Annalisa
