This super appetizing savory roll I prepared today is delicious!!!! Well, you made it yourself… you might say, haha, but those who follow me know, or hopefully can read between the lines, that I’m sincere and if I go on and say a recipe is so so appetizing and that we argued over it, me and Andrea the teenage troublemaker at home, know that I’m not lying or exaggerating!!!
This simple savory pie is very tasty and is quickly prepared with the ready-made pizza base, the one you conveniently find in the refrigerated section of the supermarket.
I used some cheese I had at home (Edamer), but you can also use other slices like Maasdam, Fontina, Asiago, etc. This stuffed savory rustic is also delicious as a appetizer cut into small cubes and will be our dinner with the addition of a nice mixed salad!

SUPER APPETIZING SAVORY ROLL RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 14 oz ready-made pizza base (the package is 385 g)
- 7 oz Cooked ham
- 5 oz Edamer cheese
- 1 tbsp capers in salt
- 1 shallot (large)
- 7 oz spinach
- to taste Extra virgin olive oil
- to taste Salt and pepper

- Baking Sheet
- Casserole
- Knife
FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SUPER APPETIZING SAVORY ROLL RECIPE
Blanch the washed spinach in very little water for 3/4 minutes.
Drain them well, trying to squeeze out as much water as possible.Finely chop the peeled shallot and brown it in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil. Now add the spinach and let it cook over low heat for 5/7 minutes.
Unroll the ready-made pizza dough keeping the protective paper and spread the desalted capers over it. Add the spinach sautéed in the pan and some cheese strips.
To finish the filling of the savory roll with ready-made base, place the cooked ham on top, and finish with the remaining cheese.
Roll up the super appetizing stuffed savory roll from the longest side and seal the edges of the dough with a little running water.
Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F and cook for about 30/35 minutes or until the surface of this appetizing savory pie is golden.
Let it cool for a few minutes and serve the super appetizing savory roll cut into slices. Enjoy your meal and have a good day!
