Ingredients SWEET BANANA AND CHOCOLATE BREAD RECIPE

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups multigrain flour
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate (coarsely chopped)
  • 1 lemon (juice to prevent bananas from browning)
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE SWEET BANANA AND CHOCOLATE BREAD RECIPE

  • I grease a loaf pan with the appropriate release agent and proceed to slice a banana lengthwise, moistening it with lemon juice so that it doesn’t brown over time and set it aside.

  • Then I cut the other bananas mashing them with a fork to get a soft mash.

    To this I add the vegetable oil, plain yogurt, maple syrup, and the whole egg and leave it aside while I mix the dry ingredients.

    In a bowl, I put the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and brown sugar.

  • To the banana and liquid mixture I gradually add these “dry ingredients” mixing well to obtain a smooth and homogeneous batter.

    I pour everything into the loaf pan, add the banana sliced in half earlier, and the coarsely chopped dark chocolate.

  • I bake the sweet banana bread with chopped dark chocolate at 340°F for about 50/55 minutes or depending on the characteristics of our home oven,
