Prepare this Autumn Salad with Me
In a pan without any added seasoning, toast the slices of bacon, and when they are nicely golden, break them into pieces and absorb the excess grease with special paper.
Clean the pan and put the honey and the fig cut into 4 parts, and caramelize the fruit for a few minutes.
Compose the dish by placing the mixed salad greens, pieces of toasted bacon, the quarters of caramelized fig, and finally crumble the feta on top.
Personally, I didn’t add any other dressing because the sweetness of the honeyed fig already combines wonderfully with the sharp flavor of the feta, but if you prefer, add extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, and a little salt… TO YOUR TASTE ^_^
