1) Clearly this is the right recipe to use the seasonal vegetables you like the most and even those left from a sauté or a sauce made the day before!
2) I assure you that the dish of semolina gnocchi with vegetables is delicious even without a sauce to bind them. But if you really want a cream, make a very thin béchamel and if you want to lighten it, use half water and half milk as the liquid! (above, in bold, you will find the complete béchamel sauce recipe).
