WHOLE WHEAT APPLE CAKE RECIPE

As I often write on the blog, when my schedule allows it, I watch many shows about cooking, recipes, “kitchen nightmares”—in short, as a former restaurateur, I enjoy watching shows about cooking lines, kitchen brigades, chefs, and everything that surrounds them!

I followed Hell’s Kitchen Italy with Cracco years ago, and in this article, I created, with some modifications, a recipe by Matteo Ronzoni, the winner of the series in 2015.

The whole wheat apple cake is very good, and the many apples in large chunks on top make it very delicious! INGREDIENTS FOR WHOLE WHEAT APPLE CAKE RECIPE

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 6 cups Golden Apples
  • 2/3 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 cup Soy Yogurt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • to taste Ground Cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 package Baking Powder

Preparation WHOLE WHEAT APPLE CAKE RECIPE

  • Wash and dice the apples after coring them.

    Place them in a bowl and add a pinch of sugar from the total amount indicated and some cinnamon.

    Beat the whole eggs with the brown sugar.

  • Then add the two flours alternating the dry ingredients with the soy yogurt and vegetable oil.

    Add the baking powder, mixing all the ingredients.

    Line a pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter, leveling it well.

  • Sprinkle the surface of the whole wheat apple cake with the Golden chunks.

    Bake the cake at 350°F for about 50-60 minutes.

  • Allow to cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, and serve this delightful whole wheat apple cake recipe!
