- 1.1 lbs panettone (or pandoro to your liking)
- 8.8 oz mascarpone
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2.5 oz chocolate chips
- 0.25 cup sugar
- to taste sugar paste (colored)
- to taste currants

FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE ZUCCOTTO HAT CAKE WITH PANETTONE
then I cut some slices of panettone to line the entire mold just protected.
In the bowl of the stand mixer, I whip the cream and gradually add the mascarpone and then the sugar.
With a spatula, I mix well and set aside a few tablespoons of white cream to coat the zuccotto once turned over onto the serving plate and the film removed.
Now I add the chocolate chips and with this cream, I fill the zuccotto only lined with panettone.
Seal with a slice of panettone, cover with the reserved cream, and place in the refrigerator for a few hours to better thicken and stabilize the no-bake dessert with panettone.
