Cherry Mozzarella and Cherry Tomato Salad with Celery

Cherry mozzarella and cherry tomato salad with celery is a variation of the more classic caprese salad or tomato and mozzarella salad.
A quick and easy cold dish to prepare that can be served as an appetizer or as a main course.

Ingredients

  • cherry mozzarella balls (quantity according to dietary plan)
  • cherry tomatoes
  • celery
  • as needed basil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil (raw)
  • as needed oregano

Tools

  • 1 Bowl or Salad Bowl

Preparation

  • Mini Mozzarella
    Drain the mini mozzarella.

    Cherry Tomatoes
    Carefully wash the tomatoes.
    Cut and remove the stem part if you deem it necessary.
    Cut each berry vertically, splitting it in half.

    Celery
    Carefully wash the celery.
    Cut the celery stalks into chunks and separate the leaves.

    Basil
    Select and wash the basil leaves.
    Drain them in a colander.
    Dry them on a sheet of kitchen paper.

  • In a bowl or salad bowl, pour:
    • the mini mozzarella;
    • the cherry tomatoes;
    • the celery.

    Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.
    Drizzle with a dash of extra virgin olive oil.
    Add basil and oregano.

    Plate it.

    Your cherry mozzarella and cherry tomato salad with celery is ready.
