Cherry Tomato and Basil Salad with Parmesan

The cherry tomato and basil salad with Parmesan is colorful and fresh.
No cooking required.
A cold dish that is easy and quick to prepare, which can be served as an appetizer or as a main course.

I prepared my salad with yellow and red cherry tomatoes and flavored it with basil.

I added shaved Parmesan.
Parmesan is a semi-fat cheese naturally free of lactose.
However, cheeses should be consumed no more than twice a week, in small portions, and preferably fresh cheeses.

Ingredients

  • cherry tomatoes (yellow and red)
  • as needed basil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil (raw)
  • Parmesan cheese (shaved [amount according to dietary plan])

Tools

  • 1 Bowl or Salad Bowl

Preparation

  • Thoroughly wash the tomatoes.
    Cut and remove the stem part if you deem it necessary.
    Slice each tomato vertically in half.

    Select and wash the basil leaves.
    Drain them in a colander.
    Dry them on a sheet of kitchen paper.

    Place the cherry tomatoes in a bowl or salad bowl.
    Season with salt and pepper, basil leaves, and a drizzle of raw oil.

    Distribute the shaved Parmesan on your cherry tomato and basil salad.

    Plate it.

    Your cherry tomato and basil salad with Parmesan is ready.
