The egg-free meat pizza in a light version is a light and tasty ground meat pizza.
An alternative to egg-free meatballs or egg-free meatballs in sauce very easy to prepare that will win over both adults and children.
As for the preparation of the meatballs, I used:
• mixed ground beef and pork [ask for lean], alternatively you can use ground chicken breast or turkey breast;
• I did not add eggs;
• I did not add milk;
• I added whole wheat breadcrumbs to the mixture.
Unlike the meatballs:
• I did not add grated cheese to the mixture but distributed it on the surface to achieve the pizza effect [use any flakes to create spots like mozzarella].
This way I avoided overloading with proteins and fats.
Like a margherita pizza, I used simple tomato sauce and added plenty of oregano, you can replace it with basil if you prefer.

Ingredients
- 8.5 oz lean mixed ground beef and pork (lean)
- 1 tbsp whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
- to taste tomato sauce (homemade)
- 1 tbsp parmigiano reggiano (grated)
- to taste oregano

- Parchment Paper 2 sheets

Preparation
In a bowl, pour:
• the ground meat;
• the whole wheat breadcrumbs [one 15 g measure or 1 heaping tablespoon];
• a pinch of salt;
• a pinch of pepper;
and mix the ingredients.Line a baking pan with a sheet of parchment paper, I used a 24 cm pastiera pan.
Remove the parchment paper from the pan.
Transfer the meat mixture onto the parchment paper.
Cover with another sheet of parchment paper.
Roll out the mixture between the two sheets of parchment paper with a rolling pin as if it were pizza dough [thickness 0.6-0.8 inches].Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the rolled-out meat mixture along with the bottom parchment paper into the pan.
Season as if it were a pizza:
• distribute the simple tomato sauce over the surface [amount to taste, generous to prevent the meat from drying out];
• distribute the grated cheese [one 15 g measure or 1 heaping tablespoon].
• distribute the oregano.Briefly preheat the oven.

Since it is a preparation based on ground meat, it must always be well-cooked and not rare to avoid the risk of foodborne illnesses from pathogenic microorganisms.
On a steak, any contamination remains superficial and is destroyed during cooking.
This is why you can eat a rare or undercooked steak.
In ground meat preparations, contamination can spread internally.
Therefore, when consuming hamburgers, meatballs, or other ground meat dishes, it is important that the cooking is complete and there are no pink or undercooked areas.Your egg-free meat pizza in a light version is ready.
