Grilled Champignon Mushrooms

Grilled champignon mushrooms are a tasty side dish.

Low in calories, easy and quick to prepare, perfect to serve alongside a myriad of other delicious grilled vegetables or to add to salads.

You can prepare grilled champignon mushrooms:
• sliced on the grill;
• whole on the grill.

I prepare them sliced on the grill.

Grilled Champignon Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 champignon mushrooms
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
  • as needed parsley (chopped)
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil (raw)

Preparation

  • Rinse the mushrooms under water, dry them, and separate the caps from the stems.
    If the caps appear darkened and/or stained, peel them.
    Slice the caps and let them dry further in a colander.

  • Heat the grill – grill – induction plate.

  • Grill the mushroom slices on both sides and transfer them to a plate.
    They will release some water.

  • Season with salt and pepper, parsley, and a drizzle of raw olive oil.

  • Your grilled champignon mushrooms are ready.
    Enjoy your meal!

  • You can prepare grilled champignon mushrooms:
    • whole on the grill.

  • After cleaning the mushrooms, separating the caps from the stems, and drying, grill the whole caps first on one side then on the other.
