The pasta in broth with frozen peas is a simple and nutritious recipe, perfect for comforting yourself when you need something light yet tasty.

I used frozen peas, a practical and always available ingredient that retains much of the properties of fresh peas.
I added the vegetables I had in my pantry for a vegetable broth ready in a few minutes, ideal to serve with pasta: pasta and peas in broth.

It is delicious hot but also excellent lukewarm.

Use whole wheat pasta to increase the fiber content.

In the case of brothy first courses, to avoid glycemic peaks, it is advisable to cook the pasta separately, then rinse it and add it to the brothy condiment prepared separately; this way, the starch released by the pasta in the cooking water is eliminated.

Meanwhile, bring the broth with peas back to a boil.
    Add the pasta and mix.

    Plate it.
Grind the pepper and drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.

Your pasta and peas in broth is ready.
