The whole wheat pasta with basil pesto and peas is fresh and tasty.

Peas
As for the peas, I used frozen baby peas.
Frozen peas have the same caloric intake as fresh peas.

Whole Wheat Pasta with Basil Pesto and Peas

Ingredients

  • 4.2 oz whole wheat fusilli
  • frozen peas (for 2 people)
  • to taste basil pesto
  • 2 fillets anchovies in oil (drained)
  • 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)

Tools

  • 1 Bowl or Salad Bowl

Preparation

  • Rinse the frozen peas under running water.

    Prepare 1-2 cubes or 1-2 tablespoons of:
    light basil pesto without cheese.

    Thoroughly drain the anchovies and let them dry on a sheet of kitchen paper.
    Break them into pieces with a fork.

  • Prepare a large bowl or salad bowl.

    Pour into the bowl:
    • the basil pesto;
    • the anchovies;
    and mix well.

    Cook the pasta and peas together, rinse thoroughly under running water so they cool, and drain well.

    Pour the pasta and peas into the bowl with the basil pesto and anchovies, grind the pepper, and mix.

    Plate up.
    Grind a bit more pepper.

    Your chilled whole wheat pasta with delicious peas is ready.
