Ingredients

Let’s see the ingredients needed for this recipe

  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • to taste orange zest (grated)
  • A few drops almond essence
  • to taste sugar sprinkles (colored)
  • to taste ground ginger
  • to taste ground cinnamon
  • to taste vanilla

Tools

  • 1 Bowl
  • Cookie cutter
  • 1 Baking tray
  • Parchment paper
  • 1 Rolling pin
  • 1 Work surface
  • 1 Fork

Steps

  • In a bowl, break the eggs (which you should have left at room temperature), add a pinch of salt, sugar and start mixing with a fork.

Add the oil, the grated orange zest and mix again.

Also add the essences, vanilla, almond, cinnamon, ginger. Add them in equal amounts, a sprinkle for the powders and a few drops for the liquid essences.

At this point, start incorporating the dry ingredients, sifted flour and baking powder.

Add them little by little, and when it is no longer possible to work with a fork, use your hands.

You will obtain a smooth and soft dough.

  • With a rolling pin roll out the dough on a work surface  and use a cookie cutter to shape as desired.

I cut mine into flower shapes and followed my imagination.

Once ready, distribute the colored sugar sprinkles on the surface.

Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for about 15 minutes.

Enjoy these simple but delicious cookies

bricciola

Hello, I'm Simona, and my page is called BriCciola in cucina, because I dedicated it to my mom and dad, who have called me that since I was little. I'm not a chef, and in my life, I've always dealt with completely different things, but cooking, along with dancing, has always been one of my great passions. However, my greatest inspiration came from the dishes prepared first by my grandmother and now by my mom. Here on my cooking blog, I'll guide you from appetizers to desserts, with recipes designed for a healthy and mindful lifestyle. Balanced dishes, carefully chosen ingredients, and lots of flavors, because eating well never means giving up pleasure. I love eating, but I also like taking care of my health, my family's health, and, in a way, the health of everyone who tries my recipes. That's why daily life should be rich in flavor, but always with a focus on healthy eating. Thank you, I look forward to seeing you.
