- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 3 People
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All Seasons
Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen broccoli (fresh is also fine)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 oz sausage
- 9 oz chicken breast (whole)
- 7 oz borlotti beans
- as needed water (for cooking)
- as needed extra virgin olive oil
- as needed salt
Tools
- 1 Pan
- 1 Knife
- 1 Small Pot
- 1 Fork
Steps
In a small pot, boil the sausage to remove excess fat.
I always use this trick, the sausage doesn’t lose flavor but only excess fat.
After 6/7 minutes I turned off the stove and set it aside out of the water.
Take the whole chicken breast, cut into cubes and put in the pan without oil, as if you were cooking it “grilled”.When you see that it is soft and almost fully cooked, set it aside along with the sausage.
In the same pan (emptied) finely chop the garlic or leave it whole if you prefer, I chop it fine so that the garlic stays inside the preparation.Add a drizzle of oil and the broccoli.
Since they were frozen I did not add water and after 5/6 minutes of cooking I added the borlotti beans.
The borlotti, for me this time were the ones already packaged in the glass jar, use whichever you prefer, the important thing is that at the time of this step they are already cooked (precooked or cooked by you).
Cook the vegetables and legumes together for another 10 minutes, checking if a little water needs to be added.
Pour over the chicken and sausage that we previously prepared.
Mix everything until fully cooked and enjoy this COMPLETE DISH CHICKEN SAUSAGE BROCCOLI AND BORLOTTI BEANS
