- 1 1/2 cups type 2 flour
- 1/3 cup almond powder
- 1/4 tsp fine salt (a pinch)
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup water
- 0.7 oz dark chocolate (chopped or in small pieces)
- 2 1/2 tbsp whole cane sugar (for more sweetness, you can increase up to 1/3 cup)
- 1 tbsp baking powder (1 packet)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 3/4 tsp jam (2/3 teaspoons)

Steps
In a mixing bowl, pour the melted butter, sugar (you can also use white if preferred), a pinch of salt, and the dark chocolate in pieces.
I chopped the chocolate with a knife, but you can use chocolate chips if preferred.
Using a fork or a spatula, give it a first mix.
Add the water, the unsweetened cocoa, and continue to mix.
Incorporate the dry ingredients, the baking powder, flour, and almond flour.
I prefer to buy whole almonds and use my chopper to make the flour.
Do what is most convenient for you.

Butter and flour the pound cake mold.
After pouring the mixture, add the jam on top and gently swirl with the teaspoon.
Turn on the oven to static mode, 350°F, and once it’s at temperature, bake for about 33 minutes.
Before stopping the cooking, always do the toothpick test for the final check.
