Lasagna with Ragù

Lasagna with ragù is the quintessential Sunday main dish, a dish that makes you feel at home, with family, among your loved ones.

When I prepare lasagna, I like to devote myself with passion because I feel it is the dish that warms the heart and pleases the palate.

Let me quickly explain my delicious and creamy version.

If you love baked dishes, I’ll leave you some other recipes selected for you:

Ingredients

Let’s see the ingredients we need to prepare lasagna with ragù

  • 9 oz thin egg lasagna sheets (purchased at the supermarket)
  • 4.2 cups béchamel sauce
  • 7 oz stracchino cheese
  • 1.76 lbs ragù
  • 1.41 grated parmesan

Tools

  • 1 Baking Pan
  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Cooking Spoon

Steps

  • First, I made the ragù.

You can prepare the sauce with ground beef, mixed (pork and beef) or if you want to try, I used ground turkey. I assure you that the result will be a tasty ragù like the classic one.

Everyone can make the ragù with the meat they prefer, the process will always be the same, only the type of meat added will change.

I took the casserole and put inside, finely chopped carrot, onion, finely chopped garlic, olive oil, and salt. I let these ingredients soften and then added 9 oz of ground meat. I cooked it with the rest, deglazed with red wine (half a glass), added tomato sauce, salt, a pinch of sugar, and basil.

I cooked for about three hours and set aside.

  • I also prepared the béchamel sauce in my oil version. Prepare it as you like best, with butter if you prefer.

At this point, we have everything to assemble the lasagna.

I placed a layer of sauce at the bottom of the baking dish and started laying the first sheets, a layer of sauce, béchamel, parmesan, and stracchino.
It will be the stracchino distributed in small dollops together with the béchamel that will make the lasagna very creamy.

I continued with this sequence until I finished the sheets I had.

Bake in a preheated convection oven at 340°F for about 30 minutes.

Are you ready to enjoy them?

Tips on Lasagna

You can prepare lasagna with ragù the day before, assembling all the ingredients in the pan and then storing it in the fridge.

The sheets will have time to meld even better with all the other ingredients.

Hello, I'm Simona, and my page is called BriCciola in cucina, because I dedicated it to my mom and dad, who have called me that since I was little. I'm not a chef, and in my life, I've always dealt with completely different things, but cooking, along with dancing, has always been one of my great passions. However, my greatest inspiration came from the dishes prepared first by my grandmother and now by my mom. Here on my cooking blog, I'll guide you from appetizers to desserts, with recipes designed for a healthy and mindful lifestyle. Balanced dishes, carefully chosen ingredients, and lots of flavors, because eating well never means giving up pleasure. I love eating, but I also like taking care of my health, my family's health, and, in a way, the health of everyone who tries my recipes. That's why daily life should be rich in flavor, but always with a focus on healthy eating. Thank you, I look forward to seeing you.
