Light Coffee Cream

Ingredients

  • 2.8 oz coffee (espresso, moka, decaffeinated, whatever you prefer)
  • 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons sugar (if you want it sweeter, add more sugar)

Tools

  • 1 Food processor
  • 1 Silicone mold for ice lollies

Steps

  • Let’s start the recipe by preparing a good coffee, whether it’s espresso, moka, or decaffeinated, your choice.

    Sweeten the 80 grams of coffee with 3 or more teaspoons of sugar.

    Adjust to your taste.

    Take some ice molds and pour the coffee inside to freeze it.

    Once the cubes are ready, unmold them and place them in the food processor.

    To the plain Greek yogurt add the honey and sweeten.

    Pour it into our appliance too.

  • Turn on the food processor and let it run for a few minutes.

    Make sure to use a processor with sturdy blades, because crushing ice is not easy and I wouldn’t want the motor to strain.

    So, 2/3 minutes of blending and your light coffee cream will be ready to be enjoyed.

    Fresh and delicious for all the breaks you desire.

Tips on how to store the light coffee cream

The coffee cream can be stored in the refrigerator for one or two days maximum.

Unfortunately, it will lose some of its frothiness, but it will still be pleasant to savor.
