Pasta with Cream and Salmon. Who doesn’t know this dish, raise your hand. I believe none of us, (except those allergic or intolerant), haven’t tried this dish at least once in their life.
I love it so much and especially when made with fresh dessert cream, to be clear. Have you ever made it this way? If not, I’ll explain how to make it right away; if yes, still take a look at my version. Come on, let’s start cooking.

Let’s see the simple ingredients to make our dish
- smoked salmon (7 oz)

- to taste fine salt
- whipping cream (1 cup)
- to taste black pepper (optional)
Steps
Let’s see how to prepare this tasty sauce
Let’s take the smoked salmon and feel with your fingers if there are any bones, if so, remove them with tweezers.
Cut it into strips. I have a special kitchen scissors which I find very useful and quicker than using a knife.
Now take the cut salmon, add a drizzle of oil and garlic and let it cook in a pan. Five minutes will be enough. Meanwhile, start cooking the pasta.
While the pasta cooks, we whip the dessert cream, which of course we won’t sweeten. You’ll see how good it is. I prefer it over cooking cream, it stays much fluffier.
Drain the fusilli and pour them into our pasta pan, where we previously cooked the salmon. Also, add the cream.
Mix all the ingredients well and voila, ready to serve. The difference you’ll immediately notice is the creaminess of the sauce, which in my opinion with cooking cream tended to dry out quickly. For heaven’s sake, everyone has their own taste, but I highly recommend it.
