Ingredients
Let’s see what we need to make peanut butter.
- peanuts (quantity as desired, I use 21 oz)
Tools
Blender, glass jar
Steps
Preparing this delicious cream is very simple. My recipe, as you read in the previous paragraph, consists of only one ingredient, THE PEANUTS. I absolutely do not add sugar or anything else, and the cream you will get will be perfect.
First, it will be genuine, without preservatives and added sugars.
I used peanuts in shell, you can use whichever you prefer.
Once the peanuts are cleaned, I put them in a blender and let it run until I started to see the creamy consistency.
Stir the cream a bit in the blender to check for whole nuts, and continue blending until you have a smooth and homogeneous cream.
At that point, I transfer it to a glass jar and put it in the fridge.
The cream is ready to be used in any preparation you prefer.
Storage and Tips for Peanut Butter
Peanut butter can be stored in a glass jar in the fridge, for up to 3 weeks to a month.
TIP: I use it not only to spread on bread but also to enhance plain yogurt. I put a teaspoon inside, stir well, and the low-fat yogurt will be immediately more delicious to taste.
