  • 1 Muffin Tin
  • 1 Brush
  • 1 Pot
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Pastry Cutter
  • 1 Pastry Board silicone

Steps

  • Take the sausage, remove it from its transparent casing, and put it in a saucepan with the ground beef.

Add a pinch of salt, a sprinkle of garlic powder or half a clove of finely chopped garlic, and a drizzle of oil.

Cook the meat and sausage for about 10 minutes, until you see them browned. Once ready, let them cool and then mix with the stracchino and gorgonzola.

With a fork, mash the cheeses and meat to form a single mixture, which will be our filling for the baskets.

  • Now take the puff pastry, unroll it on our work surface, and with a round pastry cutter, cut out pastry discs that you will then place inside the muffin tin.

Grease the tin with oil, using a brush or whatever you have available.

Place a pastry disc in each cavity of the tin to form a basket, and once all the pieces are placed, start filling with the prepared stuffing.

  • Set the oven to 338°F on convection mode, and when it reaches temperature, bake for about 30 minutes.

Before turning off the oven, check that the pastry is baked.

All that’s left is to say, enjoy this super tasty and appetizing appetizer.

Tips for Savory Puff Pastry Baskets

You can also fill the savory puff pastry baskets with other fillings. I also love them with a ricotta and mortadella mousse that I add after the basket is cooked.

The recipe of today can also be made with just ground beef or just sausage which you will then mix with the cheeses

Hello, I'm Simona, and my page is called BriCciola in cucina, because I dedicated it to my mom and dad, who have called me that since I was little. I'm not a chef, and in my life, I've always dealt with completely different things, but cooking, along with dancing, has always been one of my great passions. However, my greatest inspiration came from the dishes prepared first by my grandmother and now by my mom. Here on my cooking blog, I'll guide you from appetizers to desserts, with recipes designed for a healthy and mindful lifestyle. Balanced dishes, carefully chosen ingredients, and lots of flavors, because eating well never means giving up pleasure. I love eating, but I also like taking care of my health, my family's health, and, in a way, the health of everyone who tries my recipes. That's why daily life should be rich in flavor, but always with a focus on healthy eating. Thank you, I look forward to seeing you.
