Ingredients

Let’s see the ingredients we need to make this recipe

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups type 1 flour (or other type)
  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast for savory preparations
  • to taste salt
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 1/2 oz brie
  • 5 piccadilly tomatoes
  • 3 pickled gherkins
  • 10 green olives (6 for the mixture, the others for decoration)
  • 4 leaves basil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 pickled capers

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Whisk

Steps

  • In a bowl, beat the eggs with the salt and 1 tablespoon of Parmesan.

    Add the milk and gradually the flour and sifted yeast.

  • Also add the chopped olives, gherkins, sliced capers, 3 tomatoes, and 2 1/2 oz of cubed brie.

    If the capers are the salted kind, rinse them under water to remove excess saltiness.

    The mixture should be soft but not liquid.

    Line a 9-inch diameter baking pan with parchment paper and pour the mixture inside.

    Garnish the top with the remaining cubed tomatoes, brie, olives, and grated Parmesan.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, static mode.

    Once hot, bake and cook for about 35 minutes.

    Always do the toothpick test before stopping the cooking.
