  • 1 cup plain natural yogurt (I used whole; you can also use skimmed or lactose-free)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 12 almonds (I used roasted)
  • 4 tsps puffed millet
  • 4 tsps puffed whole wheat spelt
  • 4 tsps whole grain oat flakes
  • 2 tsps flaxseeds
  • 4 dried plums

  • The recipe we prepare today is simple, quick, and very versatile.

    I love enjoying the yogurt cups both for breakfast and as a snack.

    When spring arrives, I prepare many different types.

    Let’s get to work..

    Take a bowl and pour the yogurt into it. I chose whole yogurt.

    You can also use skimmed or lactose-free.

    Add the oats, millet, spelt, honey, flaxseeds, and chopped, pitted dried plums.

    Stir with a spoon and mix everything.

  • The mixture is ready with the indicated ingredients, let’s portion it into the two bowls.

    Once the cups are ready, I added on top of each 6 almonds per serving.

    I finished with some spelt and millet flakes and another drizzle of honey.

    The cups are ready to be consumed.

    If you want, you can prepare them in advance and store them in the fridge for when you need them.

Some advice about the cups

The yogurt and dried fruit cups are a simple preparation, low in fats and sugars.

If you prefer to make them more substantial, you can also add chocolate pieces and a teaspoon of hazelnut spread.
