- 1 sheet puff pastry (Preferably rectangular)
- to taste sugar (for the pastry)
- 1 cup ml heavy cream
- to taste food coloring (Pink or red, preferably powdered)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- to taste sugar pearls (or Cookies, sugar hearts)

Steps for Sweet Puff Pastry Hearts
Take a ready-made puff pastry, using a heart-shaped cutter, cut out hearts, and prick the pastry with the tines of a fork.
Transfer them along with the parchment paper from the pastry onto a baking tray or sheet, then sprinkle with sugar.

Bake in the oven at 392°F for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown; remember the cooking time is indicative, adjust according to your oven. Meanwhile, whip the cream with a teaspoon of vanilla and pink or red food coloring, to taste.
When the cream is whipped to stiff peaks, transfer it into a pastry bag. Remove the puff pastry hearts from the oven and let them cool, then take one heart as a base and decorate with the cream, gently overlay with another puff pastry heart and you’re done. Decorate with a dollop of cream and a sugar heart.
