- 1 roll whole wheat puff pastry
- 2.5 oz hazelnut spread
- to taste brown sugar
- to taste milk
Puff Pastry Bundles
- 1 Pastry Wheel
- 1 Rolling Pin
With one roll of puff pastry, I made about 15 bundles “depends on the size”
To prepare our bundles, defrost the bofrost* puff pastry, which will take about 2 hours, but you will find all the instructions on the package. Once defrosted, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into equal rectangles with a fluted pastry wheel.
Spread a teaspoon of hazelnut spread on each puff pastry rectangle. Then, overlay the pastry and seal the edges well.
Press the edges with the tines of a fork and then brush each bundle with milk and finally sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 20/25 minutes. When you see the bundles nicely puffed and golden, take them out and let them cool. Always remember that the cooking time is indicative, so always adjust according to your oven. Before serving the whole wheat bundles, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy your treat!
Notes
The Puff Pastry Bundles can also be filled with jam or other creams. They keep for about 3/4 days at room temperature. You might be interested in: COCOA AND HAZELNUT CREAM COOKIES You might be interested in: DARK CHOCOLATE CREAM
