Today I offer you a cream and coffee dessert with chocolate cookies dedicated to Father’s Day. 😊
It’s a very simple dessert that I made to finish a package of chocolate cookies that had been open for a while, cookies that none of us were particularly eager to grab (in short, they weren’t our favorite 😃). However, since nothing is wasted here and everything is recycled, I tried to give them a chance to shine as an ingredient in a recipe.
Well, they passed the test with flying colors! In this simple cream dessert, an eggless cream (that is, this recipe but made with cow’s milk) where I alternated cream and chocolate cookies soaked in coffee.
A dessert that couldn’t be easier, and it was so liked by the dad at home that I decided to propose it as a recipe for the Light and Tasty column, today dedicated to Father’s Day. 💛

At the end of the recipe, as always, you’ll find the other proposals from the Team, while below, I leave you my archive recipes dedicated to Father’s Day: 👇😊

How to Prepare the Cream and Coffee Dessert with Chocolate Cookies
Prepare the cream following the recipe (for 4 single portions, half a dose may be enough if you don’t want or can’t for dietary reasons have an abundance of cream).
👉 This time I used cow’s milk instead of soy milk, but the vegan version of the cream can certainly be made. The version with almond milk and limoncello is also excellent for this dessert.
Let the cream cool.
Prepare the coffee and let it cool.
Soak the cookies in coffee and place them at the bottom of the bowls.
Cover the cookies with a layer of cream.
Repeat the layers until the ingredients are finished or until you get the desired layers.
Finish with a soaked cookie, which also serves as a decorative element.
Refrigerate to firm up for at least an hour.
Serve the cream dessert with chocolate cookies and coffee either as a dessert after a meal or for a snack.
And happy Father’s Day to all dads! 💛
