Since the heat has arrived, the smoothie season begins! How about a fresh smoothie made only of pure and simple fruit?
To get a fresh smoothie without waiting for it to cool down, here is my super-smart idea (be careful because it’s the trick of the century!): store the fruit in the fridge for a few hours before making the smoothie! 😎
Isn’t it a fantastic idea??? I wonder if I’m the first to think of it or if someone else did it before me! 😛
I know it’s the classic egg of Columbus: this way the smoothie will be immediately fresh, and there will be no need to put it in the fridge and wait to cool it down. Simple, right? 😊 And there will be no consequent vitamin loss, because it is known that vitamin C disperses in contact with air, and with light. And consuming the smoothie right away prevents it from oxidizing, that is, from turning dark due to the presence of the apple.

My other fruit smoothies:
- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 2
- Cooking methods: No Cooking
- Cuisine: Healthy
- Seasonality: All Seasons
Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 1 kiwi
- 1 pink grapefruit
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- ground cinnamon
Tools
- Blender
Steps
Take the fruit stored in the fridge and peel it.
Cut the fruit into pieces, including the grapefruit using not only the juice but the whole fruit.
Place the fruit pieces in the blender jar and add the sugar.
Blend until the fruit is finely blended.
Pour into glasses, sprinkle the surface with ground cinnamon, and serve immediately.
I recommend using a blender with good speed, as with some mixers that are not fast enough, the smoothie can be more grainy. Not that this is a defect, smoothies with all the pulp are healthier because they also contain the fruit fibers. 😉
I wish you a good snack or good breakfast or good fruit break with a fresh smoothie of kiwi, apple, and pink grapefruit flavored with cinnamon. 🤗
