Air Fryer French Toast Roll-Ups

The air fryer French toast roll-ups are a delicious snack, incredibly easy and quick to prepare.

French Toast Roll-Ups are a creative and delicious version of the classic French toast (i.e., bread soaked in egg and milk, then cooked in a pan), but rolled and filled with Nutella, jam, or another spreadable cream according to your taste.

Compared to the classic recipe, in this case, there is no need to use butter, and with a few simple ingredients, you can prepare a delicious snack in minutes, or satisfy a sudden craving for sweets at any time of the day 😉

Ingredients

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread (square)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • Nutella (or other spread as desired)
  • powdered sugar (for decoration)

Preparation of air fryer French toast roll-ups

  • With a rolling pin, flatten the slices of bread on your work surface to a thickness of a few millimeters.
    Spread them with Nutella and roll them up tightly

  • Beat the egg in a small bowl with the milk.
    Dip the Nutella bread rolls in the egg and milk mixture and then place them in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook your air fryer French toast roll-ups at 392°F for ten minutes, turning them halfway through.
    Place them on a tray or serving plate and finish them as desired with a bit of powdered sugar.
