Almond and Chocolate Brownies

Almond and chocolate brownies are soft treats, easy to make and irresistible.

Egg-free and lactose-free, with simple ingredients, they are prepared in a few minutes and then into the oven, soft with an intense flavor, they melt in your mouth and are perfect for breakfast, snack or a sweet break.

Ingredients

  • 4 1/4 oz peeled almonds
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 oz dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  • ground cinnamon
  • baking soda
  • powdered sugar (for decoration)

Preparation of Almond and Chocolate Brownies

  • Coarsely chop the almonds.
    Also chop the dark chocolate.
    In a large bowl, place the flour, chopped almonds, unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, a bit of ground cinnamon, a pinch of baking soda, and the chopped chocolate, and mix thoroughly.

  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and gradually add the lukewarm water, stirring with a fork or whisk, until you obtain a creamy and thick batter.
    Line a 9.5 x 7 inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour in the prepared mixture, leveling it.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for twenty-five minutes.
    Remove from the oven, let cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar as desired, and cut your almond and chocolate brownies into slices or squares.
    Store them in an airtight container or a tin box.
