Ingredients
- 5 oz dark chocolate
- 3.5 oz amaretti
- 3.5 oz nutella
- 3.5 tbsp heavy cream (still liquid)
- 1 piece butter
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- unsweetened cocoa powder (for decoration)
Preparation of Amaretti Truffles
Place the amaretti in a food processor and coarsely grind them.
Place them in a bowl, add a tablespoon of powdered sugar, and mix.
Chop the chocolate and melt it over a bain-marie with the Nutella, butter, and heavy cream still liquid until you have a smooth and homogeneous mixture.Allow it to cool slightly and add it to the amaretti mixture, stirring to combine everything, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap, sealing the edges tightly, and let the mixture solidify in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
After this time, place some unsweetened cocoa powder on a plate. Take small portions of the mixture and, rolling them between the palms of your hands, form small balls the size of a walnut.
Roll them in the cocoa until completely covered, thus forming your amaretti truffles.
Keep them in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
