Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 apples
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/5 cup sugar
- 2.8 oz butter
- Half packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- lemon juice
- powdered sugar (for decoration)
Preparation of the Apple Pudding Cake
Peel the apples, cut them into chunks, gather them in a bowl, and drizzle with lemon juice to prevent them from browning.
In a large bowl, cream the butter with the sugar using an electric mixer.
Add one egg at a time, and without stopping the mixer, incorporate it into the mixture before adding the next.Add the vanilla extract, then the sifted flour and baking powder.
Finally, incorporate the well-drained apples, mixing with a spatula.
Butter a baking dish approximately 5.5 x 8.7 inches and pour the prepared mixture into it.Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for thirty minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let your apple pudding cake cool completely before sprinkling with powdered sugar to taste and serving.
