Baked Broccoli with Bacon and Provola

Baked broccoli with bacon and provola is a tasty side dish, easy and quick to make and rich in flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 broccoli
  • 2.8 oz smoked bacon (diced)
  • 5.3 oz smoked provola
  • Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Baked Broccoli with Bacon and Provola

  • Clean the broccoli by cutting the florets and removing the leaves and stem.
    Wash them well under running water.

  • Let them cook in salted boiling water for five minutes, then drain and let them cool.
    Cut the provola into cubes.
    Pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil into a baking dish.

  • Add the broccoli florets, provola, and diced bacon and mix thoroughly.
    Sprinkle some grated cheese on top, finish with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 392°F (200°C) for ten minutes.
    Remove from the oven and serve your baked broccoli with bacon and provola while hot.
