Ingredients

  • 17.6 oz orecchiette
  • 7 oz mozzarella
  • 5.3 oz cooked ham
  • 2 cups béchamel sauce
  • Grana cheese (grated)
  • salt

Preparation of Baked Orecchiette in White Sauce

  • Cook the pasta in plenty of salted boiling water for a few minutes less than the cooking time indicated on the package.
    Meanwhile, cut the mozzarella into pieces and chop the cooked ham.

  • Drain the pasta, place it in a bowl and add some grated cheese, ham, mozzarella, and half of the béchamel sauce, then mix thoroughly.

  • Distribute everything in baking dishes, cover with the rest of the béchamel sauce and a sprinkle of grated Grana cheese and bake in a pre-heated static oven at 392°F for twenty to twenty-five minutes, switching to grill mode in the last few minutes of cooking.
    Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve your baked orecchiette in white sauce.
