Baked Pasta with Sausage and Scamorza

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta
  • 2 cups béchamel
  • 10.5 oz sausage
  • 1 clove onion
  • sage (a few leaves)
  • Half glass white wine
  • 3.5 oz scamorza
  • 1.75 oz grana (grated)
  • extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Baked Pasta with Sausage and Scamorza

  • Bring a pot of water to boil for cooking the pasta.
    Chop the onion.
    Remove the casing from the sausage and crumble it.
    Cut the scamorza into cubes.

  • In a large pan, heat a drizzle of oil and sauté the onion.
    Add the crumbled sausage and a few sage leaves and brown the sausage on all sides.
    Deglaze with white wine, let the alcohol evaporate and turn off.
    Add the béchamel and mix thoroughly.
    Cook the pasta for a couple of minutes less than the cooking time indicated on the package in salted boiling water.

  • Drain it and mix it with the sausage with béchamel, the cubed scamorza, and 1.4 oz of grated grana.
    Pour everything into a baking dish, level it and sprinkle with the remaining grana.
    Bake in a preheated fan oven at 356°F for twenty-five minutes.
    Remove from the oven, let cool slightly and serve your baked pasta with sausage and scamorza.
