  • 2 cup béchamel
  • 1 tbsp white wine
  • 2/3 cup Grana Padano (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • butter
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of baked pasta with tuna and peas

  • Cut the mozzarella into cubes.
Peel the garlic and lightly brown it in a large skillet with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Deglaze with a tablespoon of white wine and add the peas.
Stir, add hot water to just cover the peas and cover the pan with a lid.

  • Cook for ten minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Season with salt, stir and add the tuna well drained of its preserving oil and let it release its flavor for a few minutes, then turn off the heat and remove the garlic clove.
Cook the pasta for a few minutes less than the time indicated on the package in plenty of boiling salted water, drain it and add it to the pan with the sauce.

  • Also add the béchamel, half of the grated cheese and the diced mozzarella and mix thoroughly.
Transfer everything into a large baking dish, level and sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and a few knobs of butter.
Bake in a preheated conventional oven at 392°F for about fifteen minutes, until golden.
Serve immediately, hot, your baked pasta with tuna and peas.
