Baked radicchio is a tasty side dish, easy and quick to prepare.
The radicchio is good for your health and delays aging, it is rich in vitamin C, but also contains vitamin K and B group vitamins, anthocyanins, beta-carotene, and iron. It is slightly diuretic, light and digestible, and is a natural tonic that lowers cholesterol in the blood and detoxifies the body.
It is prepared in the oven in very little time with few and simple ingredients, and is perfect to accompany any type of dish, whether meat, fish, or cheese.

Ingredients
- 1.76 lbs radicchio
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Preparation of Baked Radicchio
Wash the radicchio, dry it and trim the base.
Cut it starting from the base, keeping the leaves together, into four quarters.Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the radicchio wedges without overlapping them.
Season with a few tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper.Bake in a preheated static oven at 356°F for fifteen minutes, turning it from time to time.
Remove from the oven and serve your radicchio side dish, seasoning it as desired with another drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
