Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3.4 fl oz milk
- 3 1/3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder (approx. 16 g / 4 tsp)
- 1 banana
- 5.3 oz Nutella (chocolate-hazelnut spread)
Preparation of the banana and Nutella cake
Peel the banana, slice it into rounds and mash the slices with the tines of a fork until you obtain a puree.
Put the puree in a bowl, add the eggs and the sugar and beat everything with electric whisks.Add the milk and the vegetable oil in a thin stream, still mixing with the electric whisks, then sift in the flour and the baking powder and fold them into the batter.
Grease and flour a 9-inch (22 cm) cake pan and pour in the prepared batter.Level the batter and add the Nutella in spoonfuls on the surface, then swirl starting from the Nutella with a skewer to create a marbled effect.
Bake the cake in a preheated conventional oven at 356°F (180°C) for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let it cool completely in the pan, then transfer your banana and Nutella cake to a serving plate and serve.
