Ingredients
- 1 sheet fresh puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz prosciutto (sliced)
- 1.06 oz grana cheese (grated)
- 1 egg yolk
Preparation of the Breadsticks with Prosciutto
Unroll the puff pastry leaving it on the parchment paper it comes with.
Fill half of it lengthwise with the prosciutto, then sprinkle the grated cheese over the prosciutto and fold the free half of the puff pastry over the filled half.Press with your fingers to seal, then with a smooth-bladed knife cut vertical strips from the fold, parallel to each other, about half an inch thick.
Separate the strips and roll them to create twists.Place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, keeping them separated.
Beat the egg yolk in a small bowl with a little water and brush it over the prepared twists.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for ten minutes, until golden.
Remove from the oven, let them cool slightly, and serve your breadsticks with prosciutto.
