The broccoli casserole is a tasty main dish or one-pot meal, simple and easy to make.
Stuffed with ham and scamorza (or provolone) it is very cheesy if served right away, hot, but it’s delicious even cold, making it perfect to prepare in advance and bring to work for lunch. Broccoli are true superfoods, rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene, polyphenols, and other beneficial substances, so much so that they are considered anti-cancerous. However, their taste often doesn’t convince the little ones, but this recipe is a great way to “mask” them, making it enjoyable even for children.
