Ingredients
- 28 oz tomatoes
- 3.5 oz salted ricotta
- 1 red onion
- basil
- white wine vinegar
- extra virgin olive oil
Preparing Catanese Salad
Clean the onion, slice it thinly, and place it in a small bowl.
Add a tablespoon of white wine vinegar and cover it with cold water.
Let it rest.Grate the salted ricotta.
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges.
Place them in a salad bowl, add a few basil leaves, and the well-drained onion.Season with a bit of extra virgin olive oil, mix, and then sprinkle everything with the salted ricotta.
Serve your Catanese salad immediately.
