Ingredients
- 21 oz cauliflower
- 10.5 oz potatoes
- 3.4 fl oz milk
- 2.8 tbsp butter
- grated cheese
- nutmeg
- salt
- pepper
Preparation of Cauliflower Purée
Clean the cauliflower, divide it into florets, and wash it.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks.Cook all the vegetables in plenty of salted boiling water for fifteen minutes, then drain and blend them until smooth and homogeneous.
Transfer it to a pot, add the butter and milk, and cook on low heat for a few minutes, stirring thoroughly, until the butter has melted and the cauliflower purée has the velvety consistency you prefer.
Season with a sprinkle of nutmeg, add a few spoons of grated cheese, and adjust the salt and pepper.
Serve immediately, piping hot.
