Ingredients

  • 1 small cheese wheel
  • 4 pretzel sticks
  • honey
  • arugula
  • walnuts
  • pomegranate seeds

Preparation of Cheese Christmas Trees

  • Chop some walnut kernels and a tuft of arugula.
Mix them on a plate with some pomegranate seeds.

  • Place the cheese on the work surface with the wide, round part down. Cut it horizontally in half, creating two discs.
Cut each disc into six wedges.

  • Put a generous tablespoon of honey on a plate.
Skewer each wedge on a piece of pretzel stick (each stick is divided into three equal parts), and holding the cheese with the pretzel piece, dip the softer part (the cut side) into the honey, and then into the walnut, arugula, and pomegranate seed mixture so they stick thanks to the honey.
Place the cheese trees on a serving dish with the undecorated side down and bring them to the table.
