Ingredients
- 9 oz cherries
- 3 tbsps sugar
- 5.5 oz ladyfingers
- 14 oz mascarpone
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.4 cup milk
- 1.7 oz alchermes (or another liqueur of your choice or milk)
- milk
Preparation of Cherry Tiramisu
Wash the cherries, pit them, and collect them in a bowl.
Add the sugar and mix.
In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract and start whisking with an electric mixer, gradually adding the heavy cream, still liquid but well-chilled from the fridge.Once you have a thick and smooth cream, in another bowl, mix the milk and the alchermes.
Take a large baking dish, quickly dip the ladyfingers in the milk with alchermes, and create a layer at the bottom.
Cover with half of the cream, leveling it.Distribute half of the cherries over the cream, then make another layer of soaked ladyfingers, one with the remaining cream, and finish with the remaining cherries.
Let your cherry tiramisu rest in the fridge for at least an hour and then serve it, sprinkling the surface with chocolate shavings.
