Chicken with peppers in an air fryer is a tasty main course that’s easy and quick to make.

Simple steps, few ingredients, and lots of flavors for a version of the classic Roman-style chicken with peppers cooked in a pan, prepared in a few minutes and then into the fryer, crispy outside, tender inside, and very flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 1.3 lbs chicken (in pieces)
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • sage
  • rosemary
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Chicken with Peppers in Air Fryer

  • Wash the peppers, remove the stem, seeds, and filaments, and cut them into pieces.
    Peel the garlic cloves and chop the aromatic herbs.

  • Place the chicken in a bowl, add the chopped peppers, garlic cloves, aromatic herbs, one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and mix thoroughly.
    Transfer everything to a dish suitable for your air fryer, or line the fryer’s basket with a sheet of parchment paper and pour the contents of the bowl.

  • Cook at 392°F for twenty-five to thirty minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
    Your chicken with peppers is ready to enjoy.
