Chicken with Pumpkin and Sage

Chicken with pumpkin and sage is a delicious autumn main course, very easy to prepare.

Few ingredients, a few minutes to prepare, and into the oven: a “zero hassle” recipe perfect for a dinner with friends or family, but also for Sunday lunch. Healthy and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs (or 8 chicken drumsticks)
  • 1.1 lbs pumpkin (already cleaned)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • leaves sage (fresh)
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt

Preparation of Chicken with Pumpkin and Sage

  • Cut the pumpkin into cubes.
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chicken thighs (or drumsticks) and pumpkin cubes on it.

  • Add the garlic cloves.
    Season everything with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, salt, and fresh sage leaves and mix thoroughly.

  • Bake in a preheated static oven at 392°F for forty-five to fifty minutes, until the desired level of browning.
    Serve immediately, while hot, your chicken with pumpkin and sage.
