Ingredients
- 3 slices sandwich bread (rectangular)
- 5 oz cold cuts (of choice)
- 1/3 cup spreadable cheese
- 1/2 cup pistachio flour (or finely chopped shelled pistachios)
Preparation of the Christmas Savory Pastries
Place the slices of bread on a work surface and cut out several discs with a flower-shaped cookie cutter of 1.5 inches in diameter, ensuring they are an even number.
Also cut discs of the same diameter from the chosen cold cuts for filling in a number that is half the bread discs.Place the pistachio flour on a plate.
Spread a thin layer of spreadable cheese on the bread discs and pass half of them through the pistachio flour so that it adheres to the cheese.
Instead, place the cold cut discs on the discs without pistachio flour.Put the remaining spreadable cheese in a piping bag with a small star nozzle.
Press a bit of cheese onto the cold cuts, cover the discs with cold cuts with those decorated with pistachio, and place them on a serving plate. Decorate your Christmas savory pastries with a tuft of cheese.
Store them in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap until serving.
