  • Portions: 8 servings
  • Cooking methods: No Cooking
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 3.5 oz Dry Cookies
  • 3/4 cup Fresh Whipping Cream
  • 4.6 oz Condensed Milk (click for the homemade recipe)
  • 1/4 cup Coffee (cold)
  • 2 tbsp Milk (cold)
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • Coffee Beans

Preparation of Cookie and Coffee Semifreddo

  • In a bowl, mix the condensed milk with 1/4 cup of coffee.

Whip the chilled cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the coffee-condensed milk mixture, gently folding it in with a spatula until a smooth cream is obtained.

  • Take a 5 x 8 inches baking dish.

In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the remaining coffee with the cold milk and sugar.

Quickly dip enough cookies into this mixture to create a layer at the bottom of your baking dish.

  • Cover with a layer of the prepared cream.

Make another layer of coffee-milk dipped cookies, another layer of cream, and so forth, until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream (there should be three cookie layers alternating with cream). Level the surface and let the cookie and coffee semifreddo rest in the fridge for at least half an hour.

Decorate your semifreddo with unsweetened cocoa to taste and a few coffee beans before serving.
