Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 5 oz water
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- grana cheese (grated)
- parsley
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- spreadable cheese
- tomatoes
- lettuce
Preparation of Egg White Omelet Sandwiches
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt using a whisk.
Add the water and a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, incorporating them with the whisk, then add two tablespoons of grated cheese.Once you have a homogeneous mixture, incorporate a tablespoon of potato starch and finely chopped parsley to taste.
Pour the prepared mixture into a non-stick baking tray about 10 x 15 inches and bake it in a preheated oven on ventilated mode at 350°F for about fifteen minutes.Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely before transferring the omelet rectangle to a work surface.
Cut it in half and fill one of the halves with spreadable cheese, tomato slices, and lettuce.
Close with the other half, pressing gently to make it adhere, and cut into triangles.
Serve your egg white omelet sandwiches immediately.
